MEETING AT THE BLUEMONT HOTEL

MANHATTAN, KANSAS
You have a vital role in the story God is telling. We all do. Often it takes relationships with other followers of Jesus to help clarify our own unique God-given purposes. For over 15 years, Bluemont Church has served as a place where people can come build significant relationships, acquire skills, and establish the connections they need to live the abundant life God has for us.

Friendly people. Inspiring music that will help you connect with God in a personal way. Messages that help you come to know God, join in His epic plan for the world, grow as a person, and address real-world challenges. We usually spend about 20 minutes singing, and then listen to a message for 25-40 minutes.
We weren’t made to wander through life alone. Fortunately, you don’t have to look hard or far to find your people and the answers to life’s biggest questions. We’ve got simple, easy steps you can take to begin discovering God’s purposes for your life.
God created us to look like Himself. Growing into people who carry his image is such a rich process when we do it together! We offer numerous opportunities to help you go deeper in your relationship with God and others so you can grow in every area of life.
Together, we can leave a legacy bigger than ourselves that changes us, the people in our lives, and ultimately, history. There are many ways you can get involved in what God is doing through serving our community and beyond.
The next men's monthly get-together will be a cookout on May 5 (yes, that's Cinco de Mayo!). You can expect good grub, yard games, and maybe some driveway basketball.
Spoiler alert: Details of the upcoming Summer Men's Challenge will be unveiled.
CTG Youth is going for a three-day adventure to the Current River in Jadwin, MO. Grades 9th through 12th will be camping in tents near the river where they'll be rafting, kayaking, and canoeing! It is a great way to kick off the summer by meeting other high schoolers and creating lasting memories! Cost will be $100 per camper. A waiver form included in the registration process is required.
You can’t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality class introduces a biblical integration of emotional and spiritual health that emphasizes slowing down to cultivate a richer relationship with Jesus. EHS is invaluable for anyone who wishes to grow and mature as a whole person in Christ.
This class will be held on Thursday nights 6:00-7:45 pm from June 5 - July 31. (No class on July 3).
Register and purchase the books you will need.
Want to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most this summer? One great way is by joining our team of volunteers who are serving with Eisenhower Middle School’s Jump Start three-week summer school. This program provides extra instruction and encouragement to middle school kids - including a sizable group of immigrant children from Afghanistan and Latin America who are in the early stages of learning English.
Plus, Bluemont is taking the lead on bringing a daily Habitudes character formation class into Jump Start.
We’ve now been serving at EMS regularly for the past two years, and are looking for the right volunteers to join us this summer as we continue to build relationships and invest in the next generation.
Jump Start meets from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. each weekday. You can sign up for 1-3 hour blocks of time. (2-3 is ideal.)
Once you sign up, we’ll be getting you a background check, too.
